VEXORA IN-GAME RULES

These rules exist to ensure fair, balanced, and enjoyable gameplay for everyone. By playing on Vexora, you agree to follow these gameplay rules and all staff decisions.

Fair Play

Players are expected to compete fairly and respectfully.

The following are prohibited:

  • Harassment

  • Targeted Abuse

  • Stream Sniping

  • Witch Hunting

  • Intentionally Ruining Another Player's Experience

  • Using Outside Information to Gain an Unfair Advantage


Cheating & Exploits

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Hacking

  • Cheats

  • Exploit Abuse

  • Duping

  • Mesh Abuse

  • Bug Abuse

  • Third-Party Software Providing an Unfair Advantage

  • Abuse of Unintended Game Mechanics


Combat Rules

Combat Initiation

  • Carnivores may hunt without warning.

  • Combat begins when attacks are attempted or exchanged.

  • Following, stalking, crouching, mock biting, or calling does not initiate combat.

Surrender

  • Any dinosaur may attempt to surrender using a 4-call.

  • Opponents may accept or refuse surrender.

Combat Timers

  • First engagement: 30 minutes

  • Second engagement: 60 minutes

  • Timers reset after 60 minutes without interaction.

Combat Ends When

  • Both parties mutually disengage.

  • Line of sight is broken for 5 consecutive minutes.

Once combat ends, neither party may re-engage until the appropriate combat timer expires.


Body Rules

One Body Down Ends Combat

  • One body immediately ends combat.

  • Winners receive body ownership.

  • Losers have 30 seconds to begin a body contest.

  • Bodies may not be eaten, moved, or chunked during an active contest.


Body Contests

Starting a Contest

  • Begin with a 3-call.

  • Body owners must respond.

  • All parties must remain present and within line of sight.

Contest Outcomes

  • 3-call = Fight

  • 2-call / 4-call = Surrender the body

During a Contest

  • No Eating

  • No Moving

  • No Chunking

Contest Ends When

  • Both parties disengage.

  • Line of sight is broken for 5 minutes.

The first group to disengage forfeits ownership rights.


Gameplay Rules

No Third-Partying

Players may not join fights they were not originally involved in.

Groups must engage within 30 seconds of the first bite to be considered participants.


Herbivore Rules

  • Herbivores must 3-call before attacking a threatening carnivore.

  • Herbivore body protection rules apply.

  • Herbivores may not contest carnivore-owned bodies unless directly involved in the original combat.


No Mixpacking / Mix Dieting

Cross-species cooperation that provides an unfair advantage is prohibited.

Examples include:

  • Cross-species hunting

  • Scouting

  • Combat Assistance

  • Body Defense

  • Coordinated Attacks

Brief peaceful encounters are allowed. Long-term cooperation is not.


Sanctuary Rules

Sanctuaries exist to protect juveniles.

The following are prohibited:

  • Adult Hunting

  • Sanctuary Camping

  • Dragging Combat into Sanctuaries

  • Using Sanctuaries to Avoid Combat

  • Using Sanctuaries to Avoid Body Contests

  • Using Sanctuaries to Avoid Combat Timers


No Location Sharing

Players may not use outside communication to gain gameplay advantages.

This includes sharing:

  • Player Locations

  • Nest Locations

  • Body Locations

  • Migration Information

  • Tracking Information

Applies to:

  • Discord

  • Voice Chat

  • Direct Messages

  • Streams

  • Screen Sharing

  • External Communication
